tipping
$150 per hour
Half Day (3 hours) - $450
Full Day (6 hours) - $900
My minimum is $150
Tipping is completely up to you! I never expect a tip, but it’s always greatly appreciated.
Location
I am located inside Horseshoe Tattoo
357 Southland Drive
Lexington, KY 40503.
This is where all appointments will be unless otherwise stated, such as at guest spots or conventions.
Deposits
Your deposit holds your appointment for you, goes towards the final cost of the tattoo, and is always non-refundable. Deposits will be subtracted from your last tattoo appointment if you require multiple appointments for your tattoo.
booking process
You can book using the button below.
Select the date, time, and amount of hours you would like to book for and then follow the prompts for check out. Please write a brief description of your tattoo in the ’about your area before submitting the request.
When I see your booking request come through I will either accept the booking or send you a tattoo design form via email to fill out. I will review the form and either accept or deny the appointment request based on whether or not I feel I am the right artist for your project.
If your request is denied, you will be notified and your deposit will be returned.
Requests that allow creative freedom or are inspired by something on my ‘wanna-do’ list have a higher chance of being accepted.

Payment methods
I accept cash or card payments. All payments are subject to state sales tax if applicable. Card payments are subject to a convenience fee of 3%.
I am also always open to the barter system! I’m open to trading for vehicles, firearms, handmade goods, locally sourced food, services, and more; tell me what you do, I’m open! If you have a good or service you are interested in trading for a tattoo please send me an email at shelbyinks@gmail.com
Cancellations
&
reschedules
A cancellation will result in forfeit of your deposit. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for all reschedules, or your deposit will be forfeit; You are allowed up to one reschedule for your appointment and your deposit will transfer, as long as it is done with at least 48 hours notice. No call/no showing (ex. not contacting me before your 15 minute grace period) will be a forfeit of your deposit.
Designs
&
Drawings
I begin designing tattoos anywhere between 1-3 days before the appointment and I do not send drawings over any media. If I have any questions about the design based on the information provided, I will reach out with clarifying questions. If you are anxious about not being able to see the design beforehand, we can set up a consultation in person or on video call where we can go over the design. Otherwise, this process is based on the trust you have in my ability to truly listen to your input in order to create something uniquely yours. If you end up requiring that I re-draw the entire piece that will be subject to my hourly rate and you will need to reschedule.
changing your design idea
If I have already selected your proposed design idea and then you decide to completely change the idea before your appointment, I reserve the right to decline the new idea, cancel your appointment, and keep your deposit. Making minor changes is absolutely something that can be discussed and accommodated, however if the design idea has completely changed then i have to re-assess if I’m the right artist for that new design idea.
Touch ups
&
aftercare
I offer one free touch up for all tattoos done by me. Touch ups outside of that are subject to my hourly rate.
I provide you with an aftercare kit that includes everything you need to properly heal your tattoo plus some fun goodies!
